“Ongoing side project where I redesign all the logos of my favorite record labels in a retro style. Taking lots of Inspiration from the Batman Animated Series.”

I’ve always a had deep interest in the arts. I grew up writing music in rock bands and creating record artwork for those bands and friends as well. I enrolled in a design program at Columbia College Chicago and also started working as an animator in Chicago at Design Kitchen, which led me into the digital design world. I live outside of Chicago, in one of the western suburbs with my wife and kids.

About:

This blog is just inspiration for my work, all images are selected by two criteria:
first: colours and contrasts,

Colour balance is the key of every graphic work. Nothing is do in an image that doesn't do by colours. Lights, shapes, everything at the end, is just coulours and coulours juxtaposed, mixed, splitted. That's what I look for in images, the shapes, the barriers between two surfaces, the colours breaking points. There's where magic born.

Second: ideas
Not every image posted here is do it by esthetic matters, sometimes, I just pick an idea, strong or not. Most of times they are visual ideas, sometimes is more about content. You'll find the coherence without problem.

Enjoy my selection.
